Eve Relaunches Fetish Clothing Line

Source

After encountering recurring problems with production and delivery with previous partnering companies, Eve is re-launching her clothing line Fetish.

Created in 2003, Fetish is reborn in 2008 with a new sense of womanhood. Eve has partnered with Signature Apparel to produce a less logo-driven line with a young, contemporary feel at great prices.

The upcoming holiday collection features chic, premium quality pieces in black, java, maracan blue, eggnog, and a fuchsia pink that really pops. Props to the design team for paying close attention to details and creating silhouettes that compliment the female body.

Each item is a representation of Eve’s diva style and Eve herself has said she’d wear all of it. From the sexy fashion tops and jackets to the great fitting jeans, Fetish has a lot of sass and style and it’s definitely a brand to look out for.

Fetish is available this fall and DrJays.com is the exclusive online retailer.

Twelve Bar x Mighty Mic Save Darfur T-Shirt

Twelve Bar has designed a limited edition t-shirt for the Mighty Mic Human Rights Awareness concert to be held on the UCLA Campus in Los Angeles on May 29th 2008. 100 % of the proceeds of the shirt sale will go towards a mobile clinic for a refugee camp that services Darfurian refugees and STAND (Student Anti-Genocide Coalition Network).

Mighty Mic approached Twelve Bar to design the t-shirt because of their slogan, “It’s All Love.”  The shirt has the Twelve Bar heart logo filled with images of the children from Darfur.  The t-shirts will be sold at the concert and in bookstores at the UCLA campus.

Mighty Mic is a 9-day event held on the Westwood Campus of UCLA, consisting of Genocide Awareness Week and a concert for Human Rights Awareness.  Mighty Mic is founded by a group of UCLA students dedicated to social justice and human rights.  This year’s concert headliners will be OK Go, Zion I, Rock & Roll and Rhymefest.

Twelve Bar is a premium apparel brand with offices on London’s New Bond Street and Los Angeles’ Fairfax Avenue committed to producing only the highest quality clothing.  The name Twelve Bar is a reference to the rhythm pattern all modern music comes from.  The Twelve Bar logo is based upon a heart which represents everything the brand is about and is supported by the statement “It’s All Love”.  The line is available around the world at high-end boutiques and online at www.twelvebar.com. Peep the shirt below.

Doesn't It Feel Good To Payless?

Star Jones really gave Payless the golden ticket. Ever since she affiliated herself with the discount shoe retailer, I find myself digging more and more of their styles. Every once in a while, I'll pop into a Payless during a BOGO sale and walk out with more shoes than I anticipated. (Can you ever really SPLURGE at Payless?)

Payless's expansive Spring collection offers an array of vibrant and fun footwear for those looking for a fashionable bargain.

Leather Luvs L-R-G

Even though L-R-G isn't for ladyfolk, I'm a big fan of their mens line. I don't want to wear them, but I love to see them worn. I kinda dig their ladies line, Luxirie. They've got some really interesting pieces.

Their denim line could use some work though.

I digress. L-R-G's got some dope pieces that make great adornments on the the opposite sex.  They always pick the best models too. Good looking chaps. Other models include Oh No, Blu, Carl Watson, and Strong Arm Steady. If your going to try and dress your man, at least have the decency to dress him in L-R-G.

See what I mean?

Leather Looks: Simple and Chic

 by: Kristen Jackson

So, ladies...what's really hot in these summer streets lately, besides the sun and the asphalt that melts the heels of your perfect shoe? Around town, there are plentiful easy, breezy sundresses abound that'll make even the screwiest of screw faces smile. Vintage print inspired tube dresses are officially that hot shit. A 10 or functionality and overall cuteness factor. Not so sure how to wear this look? Tie on a thick vintage belt accenting the colors in your dress, to give your shape more definition (or if you're worried about looking like a floating balloon). Want the same look but broke and aiming for cheap chic? Visit your local thrift or vintage store and look for broom skirts! Pull the skirt up over the bosom and voila!, the same look for less. Add cute peep toe shoes, a funky clutch, and darling necklace and you're out the door!
