Mr. Cosby, I’m going to need you to do better…

Instead of giving out something cool to like tickets to a Finals game or something of the like, Bill Cosby decided to donate his old sweaters from the Cosby show to be auctioned off on eBay. What’s worse is that he’s selling them for 5 grand a piece suggesting that people give them out for Father’s Day. I know my dad would take it personal if I was spending 5 grand on a Father’s Day gift and got something whack like a sweater, excuse me, an old sweater.

Click the image

This sweater was worn on The Cosby Show by Bill Cosby between seasons 3-8. It will come with a dated and hand signed letter from Mr. Cosby authenticating this. It will also come with a separate letter from the sweater designer, Koos Van Den Akker, indicating that he made this sweater for Bill Cosby for The Cosby Show. Though at this time the exact episode is not indicated here, if it becomes available, it will be added to the item’s description at the bottom of the listing.

On Thursday nights between 1984 and 1992, millions of Americans in record-setting numbers spent the evening with the Huxtables. Via The Cosby Show, Bill Cosby brought us a message of hope and love that continues to connect with new generations of viewers worldwide. One of the most emblematic and iconic elements of the show was not something that was said or done. It was worn.

What was it going to be this week? Grandmother’s quilt? A geometry professor’s daydream? A telescopic image of the distant galaxies? We were fascinated by the sweaters that Bill Cosby wore on the show. In fact, the Cosby sweater is in our popular language as an expression meaning “multi-colored with vivid patterns.”

Bill Cosby’s sweaters have never before been made available to the public. The sweaters were custom made by Koos Van Den Akker, and only his designer label appears with no size marking indicated. They are approximately size large. The one-of-a-kind sweaters were specifically designed for Bill Cosby and are collages primarily composed of woolens and cottons.

Thanks Stevonne for the giggles!

I wish a motherfucka would!

Check out footage from Dr. Phil where a child slaps his mother in the face during an altercation. Fuck TV. If my seed would have pimp slapped me on National TV, He would have gotten body slammed, then swiftly took an elbow to the face. They would have had to pull me off of him. I’m sure its not the first time he’s slapped her ass either. She said, “do not put your hands on me. Do you understand me?” No bitch, he doesn’t. All I’m saying is its self defense, baby. Kick his ass!

Hillary Clinton Supporters are Shameful

As an Obama supporter, if Hillary Clinton were to (by divine intervention) clinch the Democratic nomination, I would vote for her in the general election. Even though she’s not my candidate of choice, I would have to do what’s best for this country. Most Democrats know that John McSame’s campaign is an extension of George Bush’s; basically granting him a third term in office. We know that he will keep the troops in Iraq till 2013 (at the very least) and is a self-proclaimed NOVICE on economics. With all this in mind, I’m suprised at the childish indignance of some Hillary Clinton supporters who openly and proudly proclaim that they will vote for McCain in the general election if Hillary loses. Honestly, what will that prove? What will that help? Will it improve our economy? Will it help to bring troops home? Will it improve the way we see ourselves and the international community sees us? This election isn’t a game. Its not the Playoffs where you can opt-out because your team didn’t win. That’s not democracy, its pettiness. There is too much at stake here to vote out of spite and ignorance. If Hillary supporters think they are going to teach America a lesson by voting McCain into the White House, the jokes not only on them, but on the rest of the country. We will all suffer for that mistake.

Hillary Clinton has been completely irresponsible with her campaign and the Democratic party as a whole. For someone who claims to an innate leader, she hasn’t shown any leadership qualities that qualify her to be president. While Sen. Obama led a campaign of change and unity, she has openly used fear and smear tactics and drew very clear racial lines with her “working class white voters” spiel. She never defended Barack Obama against rumors she knew to be lies and figured that stepping on Obama would make her look taller. With that strategy, she threw the entire Democratic party under the bus, and tag-teamed with John McCain to clothesline Barack Obama.  She forgot who her real opponent was and was willing to do or say whatever it took to become the nominee. Haste makes waste, Hillary, and you demonstrated that early on when you voted for us to go to war. While I am all for a woman in the White House, I strongly believe that it has to be the RIGHT woman, not just a white woman.

I know the idea of a black junior senator with a Muslim name running for president is a bit jarring for some Americans, but I think this country can collectively agree that we are in serious need of change. When it comes down to it neither John McCain nor Hillary Clinton are capable of delivering that change. Mainly because they are part of the problem. They both have DEEP lobbyist ties. If people aren’t willing to do their research on the candiates and the issues, then you don’t need to be voting. If you want to believe that Barack Obama is a Muslim but still be angry with his Christian pastor, then you’re bass-ackwards my friend. You have to pick one. The outcrying bitterness of Hillary Clinton supporters has been an interesting looking glass into the mentality of the traditional Democrat. You would think that the veiled racism, sense of self-entitlement, and blatant disregard for rules/facts would come from the right, right?

Below is footage of Hillary Clinton supporters at the DNC Rules committee meething this past weekend. Shameful, just shameful.

You fucking up, Hillary. You fucking up.

Today, Hillary Clinton alluded to a possible assasination as the reason she’s staying in the race. I’ve officially lost all of the dwindling respect I had for her. I knew she was a fear mongerer, but I never imagined she would take it to that level; with her fellow party-mate at that!!! Why is she inciting this shit!? It was the elephant in the room that no one wanted to talk about; that everyone hoped would just walk away. Are her inbred supporters whispering sour nothings in her ear? I don’t know how she can bounce back from that. She can kiss her black support goodbye. She can kiss 2012 goodbye too. What a sore fucking loser.

Hillary Clinton’s argument for staying in the race took a disturbing turn today. While meeting with the editorial board of South Dakota ’s Sioux Falls Argus-Leader, she raised the specter of Obama’s assassination as a reason to stay in the race:

“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California . I don’t understand it.”
The issue of assassination has been a sensitive one this election. Black voters have repeatedly expressed concern that Barack Obama would be assassinated during the race, sentiment that hearkens back to the murders of civil rights leaders, Bobby Kennedy’s assassination included. Reports the Telegraph:

Mr Obama, 46, was given full Secret Service protection last May.

It was the earliest juncture for any presidential candidate since the practice was first introduced following the assassination of Senator Robert Kennedy, two months after Dr King died from a shot fired by James Earl Ray, an escaped convict and racist.

The prospect of Mr Obama meeting a similar fate is etched deep in the collective psyche of many American blacks, particularly those old enough to remember the events of 1968, who overwhelmingly back the Illinois senator over his rival Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination.

Earlier in the campaign, a Clinton surrogate also raised the issue of assassination, this time with a more direct reference to Obama. The Clinton camp immediately distanced itself from the suggestion:

Today, in Dover , Francine Torge, a former John Edwards supporter, said this while introducing Mrs. Clinton: “Some people compare one of the other candidates to John F. Kennedy. But he was assassinated. And Lyndon Baines Johnson was the one who actually” passed the civil rights legislation….

Phil Singer, a Clinton spokesman said: “We were not aware that this person was going to make those comments and disapprove of them completely. They were totally inappropriate.”

Nobel laureate Doris Lessing also raised a stir when she suggested that Obama would be assassinated were he to become president: Obama, who is vying to become the first black president in US history, “would certainly not last long, a black man in the position of president. They would murder him,” Lessing, 88, told the Dagens Nyheter daily.

West Virgians Opt Out of Mental Evolution

Some West Virgians still think Barack Obama is a Muslim….

Source

Like most people in Mingo County, West Virginia, Leonard Simpson is a lifelong Democrat. But given a choice between Barack Obama and John McCain in November, the 67-year-old retired coalminer would vote Republican.
“I heard that Obama is a Muslim and his wife’s an atheist,” said Mr Simpson, drawing on a cigarette outside the fire station in Williamson, a coalmining town of 3,400 people surrounded by lush wooded hillsides.

Mr Simpson’s remarks help explain why Mr Obama is trailing Hillary Clinton, his Democratic rival, by 40 percentage points ahead of Tuesday’s primary election in the heavily white and rural state, according to recent opinion polls.
A landslide victory for Mrs Clinton in West Virginia will do little to improve her fading hopes of winning the Democratic nomination, because Mr Obama has an almost insurmountable lead in the overall race.

But Tuesday’s contest is likely to reinforce Mrs Clinton’s argument that she would be the stronger opponent for Mr McCain in November, and raise fresh doubts about whether the US is ready to elect its first black president.
Occupying a swathe of the Appalachian Mountains on the threshold between the Bible Belt and the Rust Belt, West Virginia is a swing state that voted twice for George W. Bush but backed Democrats in six of the eight prior presidential elections.

No Democrat has been elected to the White House without carrying West Virginia since 1916, yet Mr Obama appears to have little chance of winning there in November. Recent opinion polls indicate that Mrs Clinton would narrowly beat Mr McCain in the state but Mr Obama would lose by nearly 20 percentage points.
West Virginia is hostile territory for Mr Obama because it has few of the African-Americans and affluent, college-educated whites who provide his strongest support. The state has the lowest college graduation rate in the US, the second lowest median household income, and one of the highest proportions of white residents, at 96 per cent.

A visit to Mingo County, a Democratic stronghold in the heart of the Appalachian coalfields, reveals the scale of Mr Obama’s challenge – not only in West Virginia but in white, working-class communities across the US. With a gun shop on its main street and churches dotted throughout the town, Williamson is the kind of community evoked by Mr Obama’s controversial comments last month about “bitter” small-town voters who “cling to guns or religion”.

“If he is the nominee, the Democrats have no chance of winning West Virginia,” said Missy Endicott, a 40- year-old school administrator. “He doesn’t understand ordinary Americans.” Ms Endicott was among roughly 500 people who crammed into the Williamson Fire Department building on Friday to attend a rally by Bill Clinton, the former president. He told them his wife represented “people like you, in places like this”, and urged voters to turn out in record numbers on Tuesday to send a message to the “higher-type people” who were trying to force her out of the race.

Local leaders said Mr Clinton was the most important visitor to Williamson since John F. Kennedy passed through during the 1960 election campaign. Mr Kennedy’s victory in the West Virginia primary that year was a crucial step towards proving his electability as the first Catholic president. Nearly five decades later, the state appears less willing to help Mr Obama break down barriers to the White House.
None of the 22 Democrats interviewed by the Financial Times at the Clinton rally would commit themselves to voting for Mr Obama if he became the nominee, and half said they definitely would not. The depth of opposition is particularly striking considering that Mingo County is one of the most Democratic places in West Virginia, having cast about 85 per cent of its votes for the party in the 2006 midterm elections. If Mr Obama cannot win there in November, he has little chance of carrying the state.

Most people questioned said they mistrusted Mr Obama because of doubts about his patriotism and “values”, stemming from his cosmopolitan background, his exotic name and the controversy surrounding “anti-American” sermons by Jeremiah Wright, his former pastor. Several people said they believed he was a Muslim – an unfounded rumour that has circulated on the internet for months – despite the contradiction with his 20-year membership of Mr Wright’s church in Chicago. Others mentioned his refusal to wear a Stars and Stripes badge and controversial remarks by his wife, Michelle, who described America as “mean” and implied that she had never been proud of the US until her husband ran for president.

Conservative commentators have questioned Mr Obama’s patriotism for months and the issue is expected to be one of the Republicans’ main lines of attack if he wins the nomination. “The American people want a president who loves their country as much as they do,” said Whit Ayres, a Republican strategist. Obama supporters believe patriotism is being used as code to harness racist sentiment.

Josh Fry, a 24-year-old ambulance driver from Williamson, insisted he was not racist but said he would feel more comfortable with Mr McCain, the 71-year-old Vietnam war hero, in the White House. “I want someone who is a full-blooded American as president,” he said.

Wow!

Anyways…YES WE CAN!

Papoose Further Proves His Lack of Good Judgement

All I can do is point and laugh at this chicanry.

Today, Remy Ma and Papoose were to wed at Riker’s Island in a jailhouse ceremony. Papoose’s gift to his bride-to-be: Freedom (or so he thought). He smuggled a handcuff key into the prison and the nuptials were abruptly called off. I don’t know what his plan was. Maybe he didn’t want to see his bride in chain. Understandable, but thats what happens when you marry a thug. Those are the breaks, fool! I know he didn’t think she was going to break out her out of jail with just a key. Thats some weird ass Beagle Boys shit to me. Read more here.
